City v Arsenal post match discussion

Rags are also on a poor start of the season, and today they played worse than us, only to get bailed out by the ref.

I wonder if Kün had gone down under that challenge instead of trying to get a shot away, would he have given a penalty?? There was less of a challenge in the rag match and Webbs replacement gave it.

Just on way back now... Why don't we look like we want it anymore? Hunger seems to have gone for me and that is very worrying! Mancini made a good sub in Sinclair for Rodwell but taking Dzeko off rather than swapping Aguero for Tevez was just stupid imo, Aguero was bollocksed at the time of the sub where as Dzeko had one of his better games imo!

Don't think we have played well yet and Mancini saying its due to making signings late is utter bullshit, that is what training is for and we've had enough training to know where the hell each player needa to play and what there job actually is!

Opponents are getting past the defence on the wings as well as cutting in far too easily.
The centre backs are rooted to the spot & not marking anyone.nor attacking the ball so when a ball comes into the hole in front of the centre backs we are getting creamed . Not long before other teams spot this weakness.

Mancini needs to get his head out of cluster fuck land and soty himself out

His post match interview seemed to him getting his excuses in early

Get back to what we were last season 4 3 2 1

No need to panic nut plenty of cause for concern

Dzeko played well today - Silva was pretty shite - Garcia still not sure - ehere the fuck has Milner gone injured i am assuming if not he need to play and should have played today

Current form does not out us top 4 let alone silver wear and that lies squarly with Mancini

A bit new here but yaya doesn't surprised me with his laziness that is why barca were happy to let him go, great player but so lazy when it comes to defending but all the sudden he finds energy going forward.

the sooner Micah comes back the better , people blaming garcia when he had the whole of the midfield to mark all by himself coz yaya couldn't be arsed to help him.

arsenal were better and deserve a point, worse game by clichy for a long time.
That's pretty much what Yaya does, he conserves energy defending, as there is plenty of defending players to do that job, gets the ball and gets forward. It's not lazy, it's intelligent.

Agree though, I'd like to see Micah back as soon as possible.

We're missing Barry & Nasri. Too many players looked lethargic and out of sorts. Mancini also got the subs horribly wrong today. Can't really argue about the Rodwell/Sinclair one although it still didn't do the job. Milner might have been better.

Taking Dzeko off instead of Aguero was a complete and utter bollock and Khaldoon should kick his arse all round the Etihad for that. We can all see that was wrong so why couldn't he? Keeping an completely woeful Silva on was also wrong and Milner or Barry should have been on.

Mancini is beginning to worry me.

What's worrying me is our defence as a team on the whole. Last season we used to pride ourself on clean sheets, but this season When the ball drops in the box and especially when a long diagonal is played we are miles off. It looks like we need to score at least 2 goals every game to secure the points, which puts undue pressure on the forwards. We need to get back to winning ugly and shutting the opposition out, it we do that then the flair will come with the confidence of winning games. I just hope that winning the title hasn't instilled a mentality within the players that think they have the divine right to just turn up and expect an easy game. Every game should be treated like a cup final champions or no champions!
