City v Arsenal Post Match

Spineless display today, got to credit le arse though, their gameplan worked, shut down our creative supply lines, and hit us on the break. Should be well up for these types of games, but we looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights. Poor performances all over the park, those silly dropped points could cost us dearly. We're still in the mix though, I just hope this result gives us a stern kick up the arse. In fairness we did have players who were a little rusty, and whom will hopefully be back to full fitness soon. Special mention to our corners though, I know it's been done to death but dear me. How is this not becoming a concern to the manager, and coaching staff. It's clear for all to see that we are woeful from them, but clearly nothing is being done to address it. Also our passing is becoming increasingly poor, hope we can sort this out asap, and we can overcome this mini wobble. Piss poor performance yes. However we're still in a good position, keep your heads up my blue brethren.

I blame the transfer dealings

Since the Aguero signing we haven't signed a player that has made a massive difference to the team. Chelsea have signed Costa, Matic, Fabregas and they are the reason why they are leading today.

We are so reliant on Aguero, Toure and Silva.

Instead of buying another CM or winger we purchase a striker ffs. Navas is dire, he has no end product or anything. He isn't good enough to be competing for a CL or PL/

Can someone send this post to Txiki ?

Why play the waste of space Navas, when we could play Barker?

I was thinking the same thing. Give the EDS boys a run. Navas is below average. I would take the likes of Bolasie and Montero over him any day.

100% agree Navas would literally have nothing to offer if he didn't have pace.

I knew we'd lose today. Only Silva of our best players being match fit/available made it pretty easy for them.

Even so, Arsenal showed us exactly what to do to Chelsea in 2 weeks time.

Did you put money on Arsenal then?
And if so, any suggestions for next weekends games then? Cheers
I'd put you money on a home win at Stamford Bridge. Hope this helps

Hailed as a tactical master-class, yet all they did was what every other team has done here this season, just with better quality players, the result was coming.

To be fair, this is correct. We've been pretty shit for a few weeks now. This was coming.

people need to calm down
aguero not match fit
vinny not match fit
no yaya
no nasri
we really missed that cutting ball from midfield when silva was being crowded out, with nasri and yaya we would of controlled it better and imo won, didnt understand dinho coming off, thought it should of been nando

still first defeat in 13 games,we need to go on another run

Fucking pathetic performance, utterly devoid of courage, composure and quality.

Poor team selection, whole raft of abysmal individual performances (notably Milner, Demichelis, Zabaleta, Kompany and Navas)

But who else would you have picked for team selection? It's all fine and well saying it now. But I figure we were much better in the 2nd half so..

Hart
Zaba-Mangala-MDM-Clichy
Nando - Fernandinho
Silva - Jovetic
Aguero Dzeko

in 4-4-2
with lamps on possible sub later for Nando/Jov
