The arse had a game plan, stuck to it and came away with the points,we,well looked pretty fucking poor in all departments.16,16 fucking corners and not one sniff of a goal threat,I mean what the fuck is that ?....still,I think we will be well up for Maureen's girls in 2 weeks and I expect us to get the 3 points there.

I don't know what makes you think we can get 3 points at Chelsea without Yaya and Nasri. They will win comfortably.
Such a soft twat you...

Imho we didnt deserve to win but didnt deserve to lose

Arsenal got a a completely undeserved penalty which was never ever a penalty. It happens too much in all games in all leagues where players just run into an opponent and throw themselves to the floor to get decisions......it was a disgraceful decision which led to them getting the lead where after that they were perfectly set up to hit us on the counter

We didnt deserve to win however as we were poor on numurous fronts.

Mdm - if Mangala had given the ball away as many times as he did today there would be a (new) 200 page thread about what a waste of money he was etc etc....he was awful in the first half and most of arsenal's chances came from his mistakes.

Navas - Ive put off criticising him for quite a while but he is so so wasteful and needs to be dropped...time and time again he is in fantastic positions and he delays and takes an extra touch and the chance is gone

The loss of Yaya is huge - for a number of reasons - firstly because of the individual player and what he gives you with quick passing and dominating athe midfield...however the biggest problem today was the loss of him and nasri at the same time...it just left silva on his own and all arsenal did was let milner and navas have the bal (in the ful knowledge that neither of them are going to add anything dangerous into the box or in front of the back 4) and then just wait for the ball into silva where he was then surrounded but 2-3 players. I hope the ones on here consistently criticising yaya and wanting him gone need to open up their eyes to see why the media and the opposition will be so glad to see the back of him ......today is an example why.

Jovetic - shold have started....gets very unfair abuse on here but changed the game when he came on as it gave the arsenal defence something to think about other than silva

Milner - ive said it from day one of his arrival.....good team player, loads of effort but adds very little in the way of attacking threat...in games where we are going to be under the cosh then he starts but in games like today he shouldnt

Clichy -one of only a number of players to play well

We didnt play as bad as some people are making out..arsenal offered very little until fernandihnio went off and our midfield was opened up. HOwever we were pretty toothless going forward with navas and milne being a huge part of that as well as an unfit aguero

5pts behind chelski isnt a problem but we need to not lose at their place next week as 8 pts is a big moutnain to climb (though Im conident they will drop points)

I am not blaming Navas for costing us the game but he is nowhere near good enough for where we are and where we want to be.

Europa League player.

Milner wasn't much better,

Everyone was average today, but Navas has been poor for ages now.

In fact I don't think he has played poorly, I just think his level is nowhere near the level we expect a City player to be now.

Same old, same old. Rag fucking central whenever we lose. Thankfully it's not been that often over the last few years.
And before anyone gets their snatch in a knot, I'm talking about the obvious rags on here, not the Blues.

Milner plays a lot better from the right. We should take him back to that position and leave left to Jov until Nasri returns.

If you didn't see/watch the game, it'd be hard to fathom how a side with only 35% possession (I think) can boss the game to such an extent. We were thoroughly schooled today. Also, do we actually practice corner kicks?

This has been coming for a while now. Performances haven't been great and when you throw in the usual injuries and ACON they got us at the right time. Eight behind after Chelsea I am afraid and looking over our shoulders at the rags.

You are taking the piss regarding the rags, surely?

We may well finish second, but there is no way that rag shower will catch us, and with a name like 'Big Dave Watson' one of my heroes as a kid, I expect much better from yanyone daring to associate themsleves with him!

Arsenal did their homework and completely nullified our attacking threat. Corners are a massive issue but getting a better delivery isn't as important as diversifying our offensive play. All of our attack comes in the little pockets in front of the back four, and we lack any real quality in terms of attacking opposition fullbacks. We have a lot of players who will come inside and narrow the play, and then those who do stay wide either don't possess the pace or delivery we need. Toure was a massive miss and you could tell Aguero and Kompany haven't played in months. All in all a shit game and a pretty big set back.

Milner gets a piss easy ride on here. He was fucking woeful....like playing with 10 men first half.
