To be honest we haven't fully recovered from the poor run of form that started when Celtic somehow snatched a point from us. They owe us an offside goal and an own goal if they don't mind.
 
Play all the kids and let them scare the lazy shites from the first team back line.

I'd love a maffeo-stones-Tosin-Angelino back line with Willy in goal. Also sane and kelechi up top. Kun needs benching to get his head right and let kelechi have 5 games now to show if he is up to the task before Jesus arrives.


Don't care about the rest tbh, Fernando, Navas etc can be plugged in.

Make no mistake, this is a cup final for them.
 
Forgot that Fernandinho was suspended for this, but I imagine Aguero will start given his subsequent four game ban. Presume Iheanacho will start too, to give him some match sharpness.
 
I think I will give this game a miss. I have got a ticket but I at the moment I don't feel like I could be bothered to turn up for a meaningless game. I know it's city, but it's also the same group of payers who have been so soft in recent weeks.

Leicester are exactly the type of team that will tear City's pathetic defence apart. This game should be preparation for that. Time to start playing Sane too. He is going to be an incredible player for us, but the team needs to trust him and give him the ball more.

Start kun then play Nacho for the second half.

Nacho is about to get a load of gametime and he needs sharpening up .

As for playing 2 up front, to do that we'd have to go 442, we've not got to proper strikers to play (cheers Tixi)2 up front regularly, we've not got the midfield to play in a 442 and we need a flat back 6!!!!

Every time any team attacks us it looks like a goal.

I'd, apart for the forwards of kun first half and Nacho second play the u19's team. They've already qualified for the knockouts and the last thing we need is injuries as Celtic will kick/chase/go in very strong in thier cup final.

Perhaps a little extreme but....
 
Sané deserves to start, as does Iheanacho, because both will be totally crucial to our success this month.
 
this game is not gonna afgect out 2nd place in the group so blood the young players we need to think about using maffeo and angelino, Natcho needs to play as he is gonna be our only striker for the next few weeks and we want him sharp, Sane also to start

Think you're building Leicester up a bit too much there. They lost to Sunderland yesterday.

Yeah they're playing shit but their style of knock a ball over the top for the fast striker to chase is the sort of thing that is fucking over our defence right now.

They are good at home though and any team with pace up front will destroy our defence. We all know exactly how game against LCFC will pan out. City will have 70% possession. they'll scrap and defend the last 30 metres and hit Mahrez and vardy on the counter. We need to score twice to have a chance of winning. They'll score on the break and will be a threat from set-pieces too.

Teams now know how to beat City and I don;t see Guardiola doing what's nceessary to nip this in the bud. he'll stick to Ossie Ardiles football, but recent seasons have shown that 70% possession counts for nothing. We are weak in both boxes. Silva and Navas have to be dropped, and I'd drop Aguero too. he's on his way down, might as well start transitioning now.

I'd like to see the youth players that qualify played in a team that gives game time to Gunn,Nacho,Sane,Yaya,Zabba,Clichy,Delph,Fern2,Nolito,Garcia etc.

We've a lot of games coming up,plenty of players need game time for match sharpness. It wouldn't bother me if we used all 16 players in the match day squad if it ticks all our requirements.

3-1 win,no injuries,match sharpness,no reds. Then any kind of win agin Leicester & Watford.

Keep the faith,it could all be a lot worse !!
