Perfect opportunity to play some of the youngsters/fringe players.

Maffeo, Angelino, Garcia to name three.

If Delph is fit, give him a game - we might need him with Fernandinho's red card v Chelsea

Rotate a few players out here and there. I am not against rotation but against wholesale changes. There will be opportunities for the youngsters to get minutes over Christmas when the games come thick and fast and hopefully we are playing better. The Celtic game is a welcome opportunity to attempt to get things right and work with what we have in the first team. Also with Celtic being a British team the game is not just your run of the mill CL last group game dead rubber. We need to win it.

we dont need to win though. this game means nothing really. its the perfect chance to play a few of them

I was thinking the same with Gunn.

Give our defenders a break to practice being defenders in training.

Tbh I think we could start kel and kun because a few games they've played they have linked up well also start cab he's probes a better keeper all round than bravo and maffaeo and anglino are better than the senior wing backs we have now give Delph a run out of he is fit also give Diaz a run out, also with sane and nolito get them a run out. Also just like to say how disappointed I was with kdb silva and gundogan on Saturday, didn't create anything and kdb should of made it 2-0

Surely Fernandinho will be in the team seeing as he's suspended for the next 3 games after Celtic

Barring any injuries tomorrow, I reckon we'll line-up something like this:

Caballero
Zabaleta
Stones
Adarabioyo
Clichy
Fernando
Gundogan
Silva
Navas
Sane
Iheanacho

I'd like to see more kids given a game, but each group stage win is worth £1.5m so I think we'll send out a reasonably strong side. Do group stage wins also help with your co-efficient?

I think they do Ric but unless we win the league we are never going to better pot 2 anyway and we are comfortable in there. I would play a complete second string and be ready for Leicester on Saturday and then the xmas games.
