City v Chelsea Post Match Discussion

Revert to one up top, freeing Silva and more importantly Yaya gave us much better control of the game. We're too open when playing 4 in midfield.

Cracking effort today!

That , today ladies and gentlemen is why i am happy that RM picks our team and NOT most of the know nowts on here. ( ie Refer to pre match thread when the team was announced)

I didn't post in there but I dare say people were having the same doubts as me. Shows me what I know - jack.

Well done City, special mentions to Rodwell, Garcia, and Francois Toure - all three of which I'd completely underestimated.

And not forgetting Milner who never, ever stopped running.

And BillyShears, I too noticed Nasri trying not to yawn as he came on - he doesn't quite know how to endear himself to the supporters does he?!!!

The tables could have easily turned if Joe hadn't saved.

Yes , they could ...... that save , coming on 51 mins , came at a vital time ..... they would have hauled players back in numbers if they'd scored.

Get the fuck in.....How good was Kolo!
Can't believe they're lettin him go after that performance?

Neither can i ... he's a useful player to have around.

He showed today what can provide for the club. We should keep him. Maybe he's not going to set the world on fire but he can put in a shift when it's needed.

Indicative of the OPs agenda that after such a good performance, when a fair few people were questioning the team selection, he fails to mention Mancinis tactics and substitutions. Well played City.

Forza Bobby.

Good performance against a poor Chelsea side. Rodwell played well, eager to help out in attack and Garcia played pretty well too. He did the simple things well and made more accurate tackles than he has in previous games.

Everyone played decently. Good healthy 7 point lead. Feel sorry for Scott Sinclair, if Milner wasn't playing so well, he'd have that right mid spot.

Great match. Silva was great in attack and defense. How many interceptions did he make?

Rodwell looks very determined and he was unlucky to be substituted (guessing it's for the yellow card)

Oh,and GREAT save from Hart! Triggered the team to try that much harder I think.

No point being at the races today and not for the last three league games. Damage already done. Manchini got to go on the summer. Need someone who can motivate the team every week not just when it's too late.

No offence, but Fook off
