City v Chelsea Post Match Discussion

Rodwell was fucking super - he must have got on the end of about six crosses, constantly providing the extra man in the box. Really impressed with him.

Also, much better when we don't play with the shitty 442. Garcia just sat and Jimbo/Rodders shuttled back and forth. Up front, Yaya, Silva and Kun could interchange as they liked.

-- Sun Feb 24, 2013 4:37 pm --

Rodwell was fucking super - he must have got on the end of about six crosses, constantly providing the extra man in the box. The tables could have easily turned if Joe hadn't saved.

Yes , they could ...... that save , coming on 51 mins , came at a vital time ..... they would have hauled players back in numbers if they'd scored.

Shouldn't have been a pen in the first place. Should have been our free kick.

No point being at the races today and not for the last three league games. Damage already done. Manchini got to go on the summer. Need someone who can motivate the team every week not just when it's too late.
Jesus, someone's a jolly rodger

Great display by the whole team display, we looked comfortable and in control from the start.

Lets take each game as it comes and now concentrate on narrowing that gap because we have the quality to do it.

It's too late for that .....

but the three points should definitely help us finish second !

No offence, but Fook off

The daft **** can't even spell his name correctly.

Everyone apart from Aguero everyone played really well. And silva with two assists! Back to his best.

Great strike from Tevez who, let's be honest, had f**ked up every time he'd touched the ball before that and was wandering around doing bugger all whenever Chelsea had the ball. So let's not start the "Tevez should start every game" crap.

Who's this Manchini then

Great pergormance. All played well. Perhaps Aguero could have been better. The ref was getting suckered by Chelsea.

EMPHATIC AS YOU LIKE

Obviously, the penalty was a crucial moment in the game but as a whole, city dominated the match and the somewhat misily scoreline was due to us not taking our chances in the game. The team played with energy, determination and undersatnding of the tactics and what the manager wanted from them.

Kolo Toure was man of the match- he read everything and was absolutely no nonsense and dominant. I was also impressed with nastatsic .
Yaya toure is an attacking midfielder - com- supporting striker, we all know that, right?

So can we muster enough audacity to hope? well i dont know but the fans and the players can take a lot of encouragement and happiness from this game.

Big positive: Jack Rodwell.
Negetive: Chance conversion rate( not criticism, just an account of what happened in this game).
