We had the beating of the best team in the league on form. Score out chances and we win. I predict one of those 2 teams will win the league.
I agree sort of. Had our players taken their chances we would have won.
But on the other hand, had our player been given the chances we gave the Chelsea players, we would very likely have taken them.
What I am saying is that the way we're playing makes it pretty easy for decent defences to defend against. (We are too slow and ponderous in the build up, allowing them to get organised and to defend as a unit) and on the other hand we are making it very easy for swift attacking teams to punish us (because they catch us when we are out of position and strung out all over the pitch).
I genuinely think if we replayed that game 10 times we'd lose it at least 6 or 7 times. Chelsea are not all that good and yet we still failed to score against them. And they scored 3 against us, at home.
we were rightly beatenbit of the dramatics going on, felt we deserved to win against a negative chelsea team. I just hope the actions of fernandinho and aguero doesn't affect us too much.

It's very liverpoolesque though. Well score more than you which is great until you can't hit a cows arse etc.. and the other team scoreAbsolutely. But that's on the players and not the set up.
Not for me. The dippers destroyed Chelsea at the bridge and at the moment are a level above both of us.
Plenty of games to go though.

its on the players being in the wrong set up
Answer this....would you ideally have Kolarov 1 vs 1 against anyone....or ottomendi diving in not he front foot......?????
The answer to both is no but this is what Peps system requires...FFS he has said it himself that he wants his players comfortable in these situations....well he aint got players that are good in those situations.
IS Kolarov comfortable one vs one - the answer (even before Pep arrived) is clearly NO
IS ottomendi a defender that can defend one vs one - NO cause he dives in and sells himself short on a regular basis. Now if you play a system than demands this and your players are weak at it its the fault of the system and the players...btu he can only change the (defensive) system at this point in time cause h cant change the players
