City v Everton Post Match Thread

Outstanding win, really ground it out there, got a pretty good list of games coming up. Really would be nice though for Komps, Silva and Kolarov to come back soon. Hope Serg ain't out too long.

PHEW!! – Thats what you would say -”Ground out a result”. All the boys put in a shift. Special mention.
to Demi – magnificent – Yaya , Nasri , Milner. Game of attrition. but 3 points is what we needed.
Mangala – clumsy at times – could have had a straight red – but we will take a yellow. Penalty – was it soft – maybe
but other games we have has “nailed on ” not given..

These sort of grounded out games can make or break the title.

Brilliant work ethic from the likes of Nasri and Milner, Nasri over the past few weeks has grafted more than he ever has done.

The midfield struggled in the second half, Fernandinho is a huge miss. The ground he covers and tackles/interceptions is vital, not to mention he's decent on the ball. Fernando definitely looks like he's more suited to a 3 man midfield.

Hart with a brilliant game winning save in probably their only serious chance. Defence was pretty solid, Mangala at times worrying but they rarely had a chance so fair play.

Hope Serg isn't out long.. he walked off the pitch which is promising. Hopefully a week or two if that.

Massive result and a very encouraging attitude from many of the players today. Nasri was the best player on the park and there were many others just behind him as well. Great performance from the manager as well as this is often forgotten.

Important three points. We have shown in the past that we can adjust and players will step up and fill the substantial void.

Great win , hopefully Aguero will be back soon rather than later.

For some reason losing Aguero early doors it felt like we was playing with 10 men the rest of the game. I know we wasn't but it felt like it the way we played. Even though i thought the young lad Pozo had a decent game.
