MOTD managing to appear like Everton was all over us when it was rather even. They're wrong about the penalty too. Thought it was soft when i saw it at the game but seeing it on tv it's a penalty. What Milner said afterwards is spot on, outside the box it's a standard foul all day long therefore it should rightly be a penalty. jagielka was simply stupid needlessly going into Milner. Shearer with his "they'd be 3/4 of them every game" That only shows how much defenders can get away with in the box, if refs gave them more often they'd soon stop it.
The Fernando challenge was a simple yellow, His feet were high but Barry ducked slightly and Fernando had eyes only for the ball.
Mangala's foul was just bizarre. Why the hell was his feet up? I don't think it was the intention for him to harm Eto'o but why do it? He got away with that a bit couldn't really argue if he was shown a red.
The Barkley coverage was predictable, trying to show him in a good light. He went down looking for the freekick, it wasn't a dive but he made the most of it and it wasn't a freekick to Everton however, i suspect marriner booked him because of the obvious dive earlier on that he failed to book him for. That one was bad and it's typical MOTD didn't even mention it.

I wonder how many Sergio would have scored against that toffees defence. His running and overall movement would have caused untold panic.
Pozo did really well considering he had to fill such big shoes. According to the TV commentators he was compared to Messi when he was in Spain, if that is the case we could have an exciting prospect on our hands.

Everyone is compared to Messi in spain.
Nonetheless he definitely looks like he'll step into our squad in a couple years.

It's a great result and solid performance but the injury to kun is a major blow. Thank fuck we play 5 teams next that we should beat without him. If it's any worse than that then we could be in trouble.
