As expected another massive game from Fernando... becoming as important to MCFC as he was at FCPorto, cant wait to see until Mangala starts playing

Enjoyed the match. I thought we looked pretty solid & never looked like not winning the game. We managed to contain them for most of the game. I thought the only time they ever looked dangerous was for about 10 mins when they were already 3 - 0 down.

So far in the first two games we have looked like a team that means business without really having to get out of second gear. In parts some of our play has been excellent. I think Fernando looks like a great signing already.

The dipper fans seemed a bit more subdued than normal tonight I thought.
 
A very sweet victory. I look forward to watching the TV coverage later today.

Early days but this feels different to our last title defence.

Aside from conceding a silly consolation goal, I thought the foundation for the victory was a very good defensive performance.
 
Well done to the all the Aussie Blues who got up before 5am.

Not sure what time it is in the USA - I wonder if Morrissey is still logged on ?

one or two unhappy with MDM tonight I thought harshly in my view, yes, he did get turned a couple of times at the end by Sturridge, when he tired , however the same player did vinny a couple of times as well. other than that I thought he brought the ball out well ,timed his tackles well and generally carried on the fine form from last season My man of the match Clichy , best game in blue shirt tonight For much of the second half they couldn't touch us

Welcome Porto. Liked the looks of you guys against Lille last week. Looks like you guys still have a strong squad even without Fernando and Mangala.
