reason being napoli filled all the space to move the ball forward. this is why silva and nasri looked poor.

Barry played well except for the mistake that led to their goal.

Lescott is our biggest liability!

On tonight's performance Lescott was probably our best defender.I accept his distribution isnt very good but if the midfield show themselves well ( like they were not doing in the 2nd half) that's not an issue. Kompany was the weakness tonight in defence, very shaky but thank goodness he at least made the goalline clearance.

I didn't think either central defender had a bad game. In the second half they seem to get no protection from the midfield.

The boys cannot play well every game and Napoli will give all teams in this group a game. A point is not the world as this will be a tight
group. We didn't win because in the second half the midfield went missing. Shows how much we miss De Jong. Not sure why Lescott gets the most stick as I thought are most ineffective player tonight was Nasri.

You're right on Nasri. I can't remember a thing he offered and it was HIS mistake (not Barry's!) that led to Napoli's goal.
