Napoli were beaten by Liverpool last season when Gerrard scored a hat trick.

They were also 3rd in their league and a bloody good team, set out well to defend and play on the counter

Im really surprised at how many men we committed forward. Mancini has gone from one extreme to the other. When Napoli scored our fullbacks were up wiht the forwards!

silva looked half the player he has looked in the prem, tevez didnt give a shit

Silva dictated the vast majority of our attack. Its clear that he was uncomfortable playing the ball to the wings. Despite the Kolarov goal I thought the full back selection left something to be desired. Zabaleta does not have the poachers instinct when playing the trap that Micah does.

barry and lescott looked a bit out of their depth, all in all a good result because for the last 10-20 minuets it looked like they were playing 6-7 defenders.

both looked poor today. esp barry for loosing out in a crucial area. silly mistake.

but looking at the bench who is better?

we are missing de jong and milner.

will have to see again but was the goal not Nasri's mistake? he did a backheel that wasn't where Barry was expecting. He lost it, not Barry.

it's not 'end of world' but it's not great, either. We go to Bayern next and they have Villarreal at home. A draw for us would be good next week but I'm not sure Villarreal can get anything in Naples.

Not happy with the result and I'm not sure Mancini was too happy with it either judging the way left the field without waiting for any of the players.

IMO, I'm not sure Lescott is good enough to play CL football. His weakness in defence was shown up on more than one occassion tonight.

Nasri, didn't play neither did Barry.

Not sure either why it appears most of our players believe they can dribble their way down pitch without passing or playing the simple ball.

Overall, I'm not sure if this was a good result for us, but I'm sure glad we didin't lose tonight. Hope we'll play a lot better in our next CL match.

It's a point. No, it's not what you or I or any of us hoped, but we came out with a point and it's looking like Villareal is not as much of a threat (but this is the Champions League) so we have to beat them and play Bayern well. See where we're at after that. Also, I don't think Mancini or the players will be happy.

BEST PLAYER OF THE GAME WAS THE GOAL POST!!! Unlucky for both of us! Kompany saved the result for you guys, Inler botched it for us. How was our fans? Hope to see a lot of you City boys in Napoli for another nail biter!

Note: This was our 2nd game of the season, we're really underrated IMO. Good luck in the Prem!!!
