City v Newcastle post match thread

great game for Ed , and a note that i really like us arguing who should of get MOTM among 5 players then arguing who was more shite

Geordie take on the game.

MCFC remind me of City so much under Swales. Terrible owner appointing a comic football director to work with a very average manager.

Oh that match was sooooooo good. The atmosphere was great, were there any Newcastle fans there?? Well done to everyone, players and fans. Great to see the Boss jump with joy whenever we scored.

As a team we can only do our best. Looks like the PL have decided we can't can't score more goal than the rags, Apart from that a promising start.

hope we get the title and they get the headlines, moyes moaning , shrek screaming on a floor like a chubby 5 year old being denied a mars bar at tesco etc.

Great match! Navas and Zabaleta have already started on their partnership down the right wing, a few overlapping runs that seemed like they'd practiced on the training ground.

Kompany and Lescott were solid for me, Lescott made a few good interceptions and clearances.

All in all, a good result. A few bad decisions by the ref. He had a mare!

Brilliant performance. Although Newcastle were a shambles, so I'm holding back some enthusiasm. Concerned about Vinnie. And we were crap at winning obvious penalties. Need some acting lessons.

I was surprised how similar we were to the way we played under Mancini (that's not necessarily a bad thing). It wasn't much different to numerous easy home wins in the last two seasons.
Hahahahahahaaaa.

You may wish to read Mancini's best mate Savage's thoughts on the performance as he appears to disagree (along with everyone else I have spoken with about the game)

Thought Navas was excellent

Really impressed with Nasri when he came on hopefully MP can get him back to the player we thought we bought

MY only negative point was the referring - if that is the standard for the rest of the season then we are in for some right shitty decisions
