It wasn't pretty but at least Mancini changed things
with enough time for them to make a difference.

AJ is incredible! He looked surprised that he scored. It's like he isn't sure if he's as good as he actually is. And I swear Ade gets pissed when his team-mates score hahaha.

Why's everyone saying we were lucky? Defo pen for me and we should have been playing against 10 from the penalty onwards.
On another day we would have buried 3 or 4 1st half chances. Newcastle are dangerous and will beat plenty of teams playing like that. Well done blues, 2nd on merit, Kolarov and Balo to come, we should only get better.

Not that some of you moaning gits deserve it.
Reading some of your posts at half time you'd think we were getting battered. We played well against a hard working, disciplined and determined side. What do you expect, them just to roll over? Ain't gonna happen. They're going to create chances; they're going to have possession.
I though we battled well today. Showed determination in the tackle, and quality on the ball. We should have scored more; we created enough good chances to have scored at least 4.
Anyway, another 3 points. Still moving in the right direction.
Kompany was brilliant again. I've been calling for the determination and spirit of the Liverpool and Chelsea games to be kept up; I don't think we were quite there but, it wasn't far below. Good win.

Mancini has shown he can ring the changes and get the desired effect - much better for 1st 30 mins of second half - we had loads of opportunities round the back on both wings today but failed to convert -final ball or mistimed runs - this has to stop coz teams can hang in and cause probs at the end like today
