City v Spurs, Etihad Stadium, Friday 8th November, 7.30pm

e had more thrust and energy this evening , especially at the start and finish of the game and our subs kept us on the front foot . In previous games we've looked tired as the game progresses and haven't used the subs well .
It's easier to use subs at 4-0 up, than at 1-0 or 2-1.

He used them well tonight, especially giving a youngster a go, who looked very good to me.

Really good experience at the Etihad tonight . Is it me or is it warmer than the Joie ? I'm usually in SS3 for the mens team so CB 126 was a novelty, watching for offsides We had more thrust and energy this evening , especially at the start and finish of the game and our subs kept us on the front foot . In previous games we've looked tired as the game progresses and haven't used the subs well . Good team effort and lovely to see Bunny get a hat trick ..happy days .
Was the there too in 127 and completely agree with all of your post.

Who were these women? Were they just City fans or guests of the club? Bizarre!
Jayne Ludlow, the co comms was the director of the City Academy, the young one coming through now have all been in her remit. Far from bizarre and good to hear her.

Happy to apologise, they were indeed a right pair.
Very popular in the eyes of a number of women footy fans.
I guess football is becoming a much broader church.

He wasn't meaning her, he was meaning the 2 "comedians" that did a short stint on commentary, and were on the after match panel for a time.
Maisie Adam & Suzy Ruffell. I know Maisie has been around women's football shows for a while and usually does stuff for Soccer Aid in that respect too. Didn't know the other one was doing it also. Thankfully I avoided Sky coverage tonight as I watched the inauguaral show on ESPN. They had Mark Donaldson & Ali Krieger on comms who were okay. None of the usual anti-City bias that we get with the British media.
