Too much arrogance on here. The Rags have been drawn against us, the holders, in the 3rd round. A team which beat them 6-1 on their own ground.

They don't even need a team talk. Look at the incentive they have - knock out the holders AND get some form of revenge.

Sure but who frightens you in there team? Compared to ours? Saying that is put our 2nd team out against them

Nobody. But we may hit a bad patch, ball won't go in, they fluke a goal. They'll be so up for this game that it won't be easy.

Or have I seen it too many times?

Re: City v The Rags!

Assuming the Toure 2 are able to stay until after the united game then we could go.

V Sunderland
Hart, zab, kompany, Toure, Kolorov, De Jong, Hargreaves,Toure, Johnson, balotelli, Dzeko.
(sub yaya at 60 mins)

V scousers at home

Hart, Richards, kompany Lescott, Clichy, Barry, Yaya, Milner, nasri, silva, aguero

V rags

Hart, Richards, kompany, Lescott, Clichy, De Jong, Yaya, Milner, Silva, Johnson, balotelli.

V scousers cup

Hart, zab, Kompany, Savic, kolorov, Barry, Hargreaves, Nasri, Silva, Aguero,

All teams strong enough to win the game with only Kompany and Hart playing all 3.

Assumes we have no injuries though!

the League remains our priority and the team selection will no doubt reflect that

besides its no longer a big game for us these days

It'll be a hard game and theres a silver cloud in fixture congestion easing, should weget beat. however I'd have to insist that bob and the lads look on this one as perhaps the top priority of all in the January fixtures. don't want them beating us, no way.

Obviously would have preferred to beat them in the final, but getting them out the way early on is no bad thing.

Also, beating them 3 times in one season proves beyond any reasonable doubt just how far we have risen and how far they are falling!

if we beat them again they will be queuing up like lemmings and jumping of trafford bridge

You've got to wonder how long any of these fools would've lasted had they been born Blue instead of backwards. Losing used to get in the way of a couple of Pints.

Thanks I'm nicking that

You are, like myself and many on here, preparing for the what was, in the past, a knocking bet for City to go out. It is still a difficult concept to grasp sometimes but we are now going to be favourites for this, and I am as confident as others on here we will do them. Every rag I've met today has been shitting themselves at the possibility of another banjo-ing and to a man/woman are bricking it.

I don't think we'll be playing our 2nd string in this game or any of the others in January plus I dont think we'll see our best team again until towards the end of the season. Whatever that is!

This is Bobby's biggest test. We can easily field good teams in every game with rotation but getting it right per game is down to the manager and his coaching staff.

We have the ability to add to the squad in January. No doubt potential signings are already in the pipeline. There's nothing to worry about. Bring on the big games!

I feel we can get past United with say Nasri playing in David's position or Edin playing instead of Sergio or Barry playing and resting NDj etc...

Fucking great days aren't they!

we've got a best core of players, hart komps milner richards silva, the rest are picked depending on what team we play. we dont really have a best 11 as such, squad rotation is key and im fuckinlovin it
