I'm starting to wonder if the highlights were pulled at midnight due to the various broadcast exclusivity licenses that English football operates. Hardly seems worth putting them up in the first place, though, if that's the case.

At any rate, the highlights from ITV are now available on ITV player for those in the UK. Got to sign up for some stupid reason to watch them, though:

You can have an off day , have the opposition step up , or poor half anytime but that first half wasn't acceptable for the Man City of 2014.

except the wurzel is chatting shit. I like pelli but we treated bob very poorly, sadly we have some fans want success at all cost, even if it means riding slipshod over a manager that got that friggin banner down.

I thought we were better than that.

Well it's a good job the people bankrolling and running our club know a lot more about football than you, bill.

No doubt mate but there are better ways of doing things. Before pelli was officially appointed there was a pundit an ex pat , interviewed on the radio. He said within a few weeks pelli will have city playing the most amazing football and they'll be the best team to watch. It left me very excited especially as bob could be so negative at times. Yet I still maintain we could have handled his sacking in a much better way. For a start it cost us the cup.

Keep hoping Pellegrini is going to start learning from his mistakes, and keep being disappointed. Starting with those two slow coach centre halves when Kompany is fit was the first mistake. Asking them to push the half way line was an even bigger one!

It was like watching a Sunday League game in the first half, Watford just knocked the ball over the top early, and their really quick forwards were in a foot race with our really slow centre halves! Asking for trouble, and I can't believe it took him until half time to change it!

The high line has worked well for us when Kompany plays, but it's a recurring theme that when he doesn't, we look like we're going to concede off every attack! Must do better.

1. Nonsense - the inability to understand the simple and universally accepted (by all managers) concept of squad rotation.
2. Inverted snobbery - over my using a word you didn't understand.
3. Misplaced snobbery - the embarrassing gambit of proposing that a city boasting one of the top half dozen universities in the UK and highest standards of living, is in fact home to hundreds and thousands of slack jawed, straw chewing simpletons.
