where is that thread? I always enjoy playing spot the matchday thread wanker after the event.

That thread was epic. Just as the second half started, there were two separate conversations going on. One was about the game, obviously, and the other was about how many Damocles had banned for requesting streams. Someone commented 'That's three now', and another said the same. I wonder how many blues, like me, thought that Watford had scored a third?

I would imagine there were allsorst of toys being thrown out in the first half due to the team/crowd/player being shit and the manager needing got rid of?

Can anyone remember when we last came back from a 2 -0 deficit. I've wracked my brain and not googled it but can only remember Spurs in the cup in 2004. The last league game I can remember is Reading at home at the end of the 1996/97 season.

Is Spurs the last game and is Reading the last league game?

Munich this year?

:D

Looks like revolver has shot himself in the foot. ;)

Gone by the look of it. Shame really but it probably had a few too many legally sensitive posts re streaming.

I got lucky. After finishing work late (about ten mins into game) I checked out Shady's site and found nothing for City. In a panic I came on here and was just about to ask if anyone had a stream when I saw a post from Damocles.

Can see both sides to it then but once Id got into the radio commentary the pleas for streams was a humorous distraction from our grim first 45!

I do it so rarely that it makes me feel nostalgic. Love the "Jack Dearden at Rochdale....." interludes.

The Goat was slightly annoying me with his unwavering prediction of 4-2 even when we were trailing. Thought he was jinxing it from happening.
Of course when it happened I changed my tune to 'Well thats why he's a legend' :)

If that is ok then we are seriously fucked. Face it Marv he is a poor poor player who has gone backwards over the last few yrs.I agree all were poor first half however funny how things changed when Micah and Rodwell went off.

He needs to get some of that bulk off for starters. Thereafter, how much of his poor showings recently has been due to ring rust and how much to City now espousing a high tempo, one touch, game that is beyond him, I'm not sure
He played well when we won the League and we played one touch then. Just needs games. Like Rodwell and Jovetic

Due to Micah injuries he's not had time to get used to Pelli's tactics as yet.

I'd say you got a good carpeting there

except the wurzel is chatting shit. I like pelli but we treated bob very poorly, sadly we have some fans want success at all cost, even if it means riding slipshod over a manager that got that friggin banner down.

I thought we were better than that.

Let's see; so far you've managed:

1. Nonsense - the inability to understand the simple and universally accepted (by all managers) concept of squad rotation.
2. Inverted snobbery - over my using a word you didn't understand.
3. Misplaced snobbery - the embarrassing gambit of proposing that a city boasting one of the top half dozen universities in the UK and highest standards of living, is in fact home to hundreds and thousands of slack jawed, straw chewing simpletons.
4. Pointless abuse - those disagreeing with you so far have been labelled cnuts, pricks and arseholes.
5 Temper tantrums - see 4. above.

Have a gander at the link below. It features an intellectual heavyweight I think you might be able to relate to..........just sayin' like
