Praise where its due, and balotelli is due some tonight. As for the ref, it was a penalty but its our own fault it was a penalty we needed to win the match.

You really do talk some fucking drivel.
Fair enough if that's your opinion. It was our fault we conceded two goals though, therefore that last gasp penalty, the one which would have won the match, well its also our fault we needed that penalty to win the game, regardless whether it was one or not.

complete and utter disgrace. the linesman started putting his flag up for everything the minute we got back in the game. thats not paranoia, thats fucking fact. i was pissed off that we were loosing, but this really has rubbed salt in the wounds.

We have been in the champions league twice, and already some of the decisions that have not gone our way, is an absolute disgrace. 2 pens tonight and a goal - if it was at old trafford all 3 would have been given

blatant pen last week

2 of the most blatant pens i have ever seen away at munich last year

livid...

I said exactly the same watching the game, as soon as we got back into the game the linesman could not keep his flag down everytime we went foreward, & there is no doubt the ref completly bottled it at the end, either give a dead ball & blow for time when the goal kick is taken or give the pen.

Only it wasn't.

Because we were 1-0 up after 5 minutes apart from the bent refereeing that decided the blatant foul on Yaya didn't matter.
Never a penalty Yaya went down easy.
no thats young who goes down easy on slur Alex...

Re: City Vs Ajax Post Game Discussion Thread

you can buy the best players, you can hire the best manager, you can sweat the most blood sweat and tears but if the ref is a cheat you stand no chance.

platini and his "transparent" draw has worked, it nearly didn't, hence bringing in reinforcements tonight.

We weren't good enough again tonight. Spent too much of the match playing at no tempo. Fuck knows what we do in training all week because our attacking play is going backwards. Relying on set pieces isn't good. Relying on desperate late goals isn't good. Relying on a piece of individual brilliance isn't good.

Very very big game against Spurs this weekend now. Can't see us taking more than a point.

Are you basing this on Spurs getting owned by Wigan in their own back yard last weekend or on City's very good showing tonight?
His irrational hatred of Mancini has consumed his eyes Pam.

Standard fare.

The players know they can turn this around and if we don't we have another go at it next year! We will eventually get it right.

You never know it could see all 4 teams ending up on 8 points! If that was the case I think (although haven't done the maths) we would qualify in 2nd.

And if we don't beat Madrid we will be out which can mean going to Dortmund leaving players like Aguero, YaYa and Tevez at home resting for the derby on the Sunday!

couldn't fine Javi Garcia was on the pitch in the first half...
maybe my pc is broken or something?
