Never mind the result. We're enjoying to play this beautiful game - and we will continue to do so. #echteliebe #ucl #mcfcbvb

Pure class. Despite that cock of a CEO who ran us down, they are a great club.
Why because they post on twitter.
Saw why at the game. On the pitch and in the stands
I know. It just looked like it was because of the twitter post that's all.

Most foreign fans are like that. IMO. aris salonika fans were very good

We Need our own permanent end, behind the goal, Ultras Only.... Like Dortmund have... With Safe Standing

Agree but it's a fantasy. Not enough fans want it and the club is tied with the layout.

Dortman fans were awesome from start to end.

Couldn't agree any more Pam. they outsang us and intimidated us to the point that when we tried to sing, they just sang louder and longer than we did.
Saying that it was 3000 hard core german fans and i reckon when we go away we will do the the same.

Two weeks ago we out sang real madrid at there place from level 4 & 5

Very dissapointing,Two players passed the test - Hart and Zabaleta.

This midfield is very wrong at the moment

Garcia - not doing it, poor body shape to receive ball, and appears happy for the game to bypass him

Yaya - subdued, came to bench in second half, Was he injured?

Nasri - not present as is happening all to often

Silva -tried hard

Sadly we have to many coaster in the crucial midfield area and the stats back this up, Listening Mancini interview arse will be kicked, the lack of running in midfield is why he defence has looked exposed

There is no chance of earth that we will outsing Dortmund at their place, no chance at all.

As for Madrid, yes we did then but still they had 500-1000 who sang constantly throughout the game, never any silent bits like you get in the Premier League.

Re: Our home atmosphere tonight was pathetic.

People throwing paper in the air when teams came look absolutely fantastic (tongue in cheek)

Where can I see distance covered stats?

Game in stats:
Company: 86 passes; 90%(the most) completed, 28 to Nastasic and 11 to Yaya .. NONE to Silva
Nastasic: 100 passes(the most), 19 to Company and 16 to Yaya, only 2 to Silva
Silva: had ONLY 44 passes ( 77% PC)and Yaya had 95 passes( 79% PC)
Dzeko received only 19 passes, none from Aguero though, who had 30 passes in total of which ONLY 43 % completed

OK, Got distance covered stats:
Dortmund: Subotic covered 10,114 metres(the lowest); all others covered more then 11,000 while Sven Bender covered 13,097
City: No one covered 11,000 or more ; Clichy covered 9,218 ( the lowest) followed by Aguero"s 9,800 m. Silva covered 10,8008 ( the highest)
Clichy didnt play for last 10 minutes though.
It isn't hard to figure out that Dortmund in total probably covered 15,000+ meters more

Just proves my point that they were physically much better team.

That's what I talked about earlier... In last few PL games non of our players covered 10 000 m in a game.

You can be as much technician as you want but on big level you have to run too.

I didn't need these stats to tell me this. My eyes see it every week. Our players seem to think that talent alone will prevail and in most home games it will but tonight showed that endeavour, teamwork and tactical nous counts for alot too. If we had their energy to go with our talent we would do much better. Silva and nasri might as well not play in those type of games because neither can defend from the front.

Haha, afraid not. Have you seen their 25,000 capacity terrace called the Sudtribune? They will be even louder at home.
