City vs Palace - Post Match Thread

Two words. Delph. Iheanacho. Play them both regularly, henceforth. Kelechi looked lively, intelligent. HIs hold up play and lay-off for Sergio's first was excellent. Delph was everywhere. My man of the match, personally.
Sergio - what huge, huge class to give that ball to his mate for the final goal. Couldn't believe the generosity of it.

Hope Kolarov is not out too long

Some love for Kolarov on bluemoon? Never thought I'd see the day.

I agree, I think he brings much more than Gaelito. I was thinking about it and talking with a friend about it and I can't remember Kolarov ever picking up an injury in the past which worries me

Who would have thought that Delph and Iheanacho could make such a difference! Certainly not anyone on here, eh @blueinsa? ;-)

Show me a post I've made where i dont rave about Kalechi.

As for Delph i still think he is a limited player but was outstanding tonight he really was and im made up for the lad. Thoroughly deserved man of the match as well.

Credit to the manager again though eh? Cant score, cant defend and we will never win the league....

....4-0 and top of the league ;-)

This result makes me even more pissed off about the denied penalty against Everton. If Arsenal had to win to go back above us it would worry them far more than the simple draw that they need now.

Buzzing my tits off after that Delph performance. I love his work ethic in the middle of the park. It's a shame that Fernandinho is injured. If those two can form a partnership towards the end of this season then we could ram the title over the line through their work ethic in the centre alone. The two of them would give the opposition no time on the ball in front of our defence.

Kolarov is not the world's greatest left back, and only a fool would claim he is. But I have never understood the sheer hatred for him that is not only on this forum at times, but that you also hear in the stadium. Neither Clichy nor Kolarov are ideal, for different reasons. Sooner or later, we're going to have to look long and hard at that spot for a replacement. In the meantime, well, not bad from either of them. The major problems in defence have not come from that sector this season, imo.

Good tactics and selection from Manuel. He showed the flexibility we've been demanding. Nacho Man got a start, but it was right for him to make way after an hour. At which point Yaya put in an impressive sub's performance. Is this the way forward to get the best out of him?

Also noticeable was the team spirit, exemplified by the third and fourth goals.

Cant argue with that today and whilst im not in the Yaya is finished bracket just yet even though ive been pissed with his effort at times this season, his cameo 2nd half looked good in that he was fresh and he had license to just attack, something he does best.
