I'm Ready

I've never been more ready in my entire life, to do this on Sunday. Never. It's all been leading up to this moment. Right here, right now on. Sunday. My whole life...leading up to this moment.

Let's do this City.

Theories about QPR's relegation issue.

Why do people keep looking at QPR not being safe yet as a bad thing. It isn't. We need only score one goal, after which they'll have to chase the game. If they're losing, they can't just sit back and hope that Stoke do them a favour. The Stokies lost at home to Wigan in the final match of last season, thus saving Wigan from relegation and condemning some other club. Bolton could do the same. So QPR would have to chase the game and we will hopefully slaughter them on the break.

So is it good or bad that QPR have something to play for?

Its mainly because as the game starts at 0-0 they have the advantage in that it would be good enogh for them.

Re: Theories about QPR's relegation issue.

The best thing that can happen is for Stoke to score two early goals and then QPR will think that they can afford to lose. Subconsciously they will relax, we score two quick goals and the game is over.

I really do hope the hype currently being generated around us winning it does not get to the players, we will look a load of laughing stocks if we don't beat QPR at home and the brand of 'typical City' wills still be among us.

I would hate to go back to the relegation days now, it is as if the teams down there don't really care until the last month of the season. Look at Wigan, they have had the best win record for the past 2 months; if they played like that all season then they could be fighting for a Champions League spot!

I have a feeling like most of you blues on here that QPR will most likely go out and park a Titanic as they only really need a draw to stay up, plus we all know that Hughes is a draw specialist!
In some way I am hoping for Bolton to be winning at half time which will mean QPR having to come out and attack which could suit us much better. We really need an early goal and if possible at least a 2 goal cushion going in at half time. Hard work I know.

Relegation teams play like a top 6 team on the final day and I am putting my neck on the line saying this will be our hardest home game of the season in my opinion.
We must play the game and not the occasion, believe and be together and at the end of the 90mins we can hopefully all have one of the best parties of our lives!!

CTID - Believe - Together

But they would have to become the first team to lock City out at home in years, practically. And QPR are not very good at the back.

I don't see how it can be a good thing that they have something to play for. Whatever way they set up they will be more disciplined and hard working knowing that they quite possibly need a result

Not really they will get confidence from this and defend harder, the best thing would be for bolton to score and so qpr have to go at us a open the game up.
