I have to say some of spurs passing and movement was breathtaking.........

In their own half when there were no city players in 30 yards of them.

I genuinely feel that Redknapp is a fraud. Spurs are fast, they try and play decent football, but when they come up against a side that can handle their pace. They have no counter plan.

someone behind me mentioned this yesterday, they have almost no 'slow' players, every one of them has a good amount of pace for their positions, which is why the long ball and counter-attacks work, but other than that they don't have many ideas.

Re: Silva and Nasri show

Nasri seemed really interested in the 2nd half. It's bad that i have to say that as a compliment because players should look interested all the time, but Nasri doesn't unfortunately. Unquestionably, his best 2 games for us have both been against Spurs, so my worry is that this is purely due to his Arsenal connections and wanting to get one over them. The challenge is to get him similarly motivated against the other 18 teams.

Re: Im glad that game clears a few things up

I am surprise that nobody in the media has had the guts to point out that until the Savic mistake Spurs had not had a shot that had needed saving by Hart.

We had a rough spell that was caused by our own failings and was nothing to do with Spurs ability.

The better team won and the media are not happy because their sound bites bum chum "Harry" lost an important match.

It is no wonder we City fans are getting paranoid, nothing we do seems to go down well with the members of the "Fourth Estate".

Re: Im glad that game clears a few things up

Codface is a mediocre manager whose teams play quick, attacking football because he buys quick, attacking footballers. They lack the intelligence of our team and the ability to play the game in more than one way. Bale is not worth £50 million and he is certainly no Garrincha, which the press try to make out. However, he is a good player with a good attitude and hopefully one day he'll go to a club where he'll win a trophy or two.

Because all the City attacking players - apart from the divine Dzeko - are sh*t! ;)

And some Dzeko "fans" wonder why there are anti-Dzeko posts and threads on this forum!

Why are you trolling? If ya can t contribute, don t post then.

Re: Im glad that game clears a few things up

Not a fucking thing surprised me about the spuds yesterday

The diagonal ball was in full flow - check (though no crouch or adebywhore to play it to but they still did)

Modric is a pussy and never turns up when marshalled, well done Milner

The pinning back of there fullbacks worked a treat and didn't need a vince lombardi dossier to realise this was going to be key

Bale is 'alright' - nothing special

Kompany and Yaya in that team would of seen a replica of the 5-1, no doubt

Nasri responds to harsh criticism - he got it big time in the dressing room at half time

THE PRESS CAN KISS MY RINGPIECE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Silva and Nasri show

Nasri had good game.

The pass from David and Nasri's goal were top quality

Re: Im glad that game clears a few things up

if ronaldo is 80million bale is never in a million years 150mill

40 would be about right
but saying that i dont want him anyways

and iv always said David Silva >>>>>>>>>>>>> Modric

am happy with that win love you balo

p.s where are all the spurs fans gone from here? helllooooooooo

Spot on. Spurs are a good side, I won't take that away from them. But frankly, had Savic not headed that ball to Defoe, we'd have won that match three or four nil because Spurs were under the cosh at that point.

Good movement also from Dzeko and Aguero that created the space for Nasri to move into.

Teriffic the way Spurs' defence was left wide open, and top defending from Kyle Walker who never let Nasri get more than 2 yards ahead of him.

Sorry, triffic.
