Come on city. We are the fucking champions. Championees Championees ole ole ole.

For Knype. This is from your manager

“For me, they are one of the top teams in Europe, never mind Britain. I saw them beat Newcastle the other week and in the first 20-25 minutes they were as good as I have seen a team play.

“They move the ball around, have fantastic players and are a top, top team.

“There has to be a hell of a lot go wrong for them for us to get a result.

“But we will go there with spirit, attitude and commitment.”

We will have to watch Crouch especially with his hand juggling talents!!!!!!

Didn't I hear somewhere that he grew up a City fan? Seems like those and ex-players (a la AJ) are the ones you always have to wach out for.

Good luck with that...

Fucking LOL

First of all, Happy New Year from Sydney, Australia!

Secondly, the match against Stoke is sure to be a tough war of attrition. Stoke will surely play for a goalless draw and in order to attempt to clinch that vital first goal we need creativity and speed.

Here is the team I believe should play:
--------------------------Hart-----------------------
----Zaba----------VK--------Lescott-------Clichy–-
-----------------Yaya-------------Barry-------------
-----Silva--------------Tevez-------------Aguero---
---------------------Dzeko---------------------------

The 4-2-3-1 is again employed with a combination of Vinny and Lescott due to the extra physical prescence that Stoke naturally engenders. I am favouring Barry over Garcia due to his extremely powerful display against Norwich and that off the ball pressuring and commitment is something we need once again. Up front, Edin must retain his place. Although he was generally poor in that first half and failed to link effectively with teammates he is a confidence player, and 2 goals and a fantastic second half will see him primed for this one. I believe Tevez should be utilised as the second striker due to his inevitable freshness and creativity. Finally, instead of Milner or Sinclair, I would deploy Aguero to occupy the other attacking midfield position on the other side. His speed, combination with Tevez and sheer brilliance will trouble Stoke. It is this unpredictability and high tempo passing which will give us a better opportunity of breaking down Stoke. Whilst Milner will deliver plenty of endeavour and work rate, he cannot match what Sergio can offer in an attacking sense. Especially since I expect Pulis to play "11 men behind the ball" and sit very deep.

Enough from me, enjoy your New Years Day Football!

Interesting to see Mancini praise Sinclair and his attitude and work in training quite a bit in the Presser, Bob also says its his fault we haven't seen the best of Sinclair because he has not given him enough chances and that he deserves more chances soon.

Happy New Year to you too.

I think Lescott is very likely to play because it's Stoke and he rested.

The other big question is who to start up front.

Dzeko and Aguero had really great games at Norwich, and Dzeko's height would come in useful, but the little front two of Tevez and Aguero might be ideal against Stoke's big back line. And we are in danger of burning Aguero out. He's almost ever-present at the moment.
