City vs Sunderland post match discussion

Swap the following:

Dzeko for Balotelli
Aguero for Tevez

and we've got a side that will easily retain the title.

Imagine how many Dzeko would get with Kolarov playing like that every week.

Kolarov, Zab, Micah, Milner, Tévez and Silva were all outstanding today. 3 goals and first clean sheet of the season... Onwards and upwards!

Let another international break has come at a bad time, hopefully we can carry this onto West Brom.

Much better today.
Although the defence has come in for critiscm this season, especially as Kompany hasn't been at his best, but I think the problem has stemmed from our midfield!
I'm sure Garcia will prove a valuable asset to us, however himself and Rodwell are both what you could describe as "units", they are there to break up the play first and foremost.
With Barry back in, and Milner alongside him, they both offer that bit more with the ball whilst still doing the dirty stuff.
To be fair to Dejong, he wasn't known for what he did on the ball, but he was always wanting the ball, Garcia and Rodwell look as though they are only interested when the opposition have the ball.
Silva and Nasri need to get the ball more frequently, Milner and Barry are better at supplying these guy's, there far more positive with the ball.
Well done City, we've finally turned up.

-- Sat Oct 06, 2012 3:31 pm --

Much better today.

This.

Barry was awesome!

City are back...

And an interesting stat...

We are 2 points better off than last season after an "iffy" start.

Southampton (H) Same points (We beat all the promoted sides last season)

Liverpool (A) Same points

QPR (H) Same points

Stoke (A) Same points

Arsenal (H) minus 2 points

Fulham (A) Plus 2 points

Sunderland (H) Plus 2 points

Overall a poor start to the season but the stats don't show that. :)

COME ON CITY!!!!

Kompany injured did the trick in defense. He shouldnt start until he finds his form again

barry and milner was key today they just sat in cover for the fullbacks much like last season with barry and de jong

the setup must be hard to change in the next game and maybe mancini will keep it like it is but move yaya back away from home

mario is wrong for me and will be better coming of the bench if we need something else he just plays at a very slow pace (in his own world) at times

8/10 today for the team
6/10 today for mancini could have played aguero at the start and maybe took a chance with mario
