9 points behind at this stage will be bad. Some people will continue to say, "man up! There are so many games left!"

But I guess they are assuming we will win all our remaining games and all our rivals above us to collectively slip up. Well it could go the other way too. We continue to mess up while our rivals do brilliantly. Or we and our rivals go up and down all season and we remain behind them. Either way it isn't good. I always feel better if we are within 5 points from the top. Anymore, it's risky and would have to depend on a lot of factors going our way.

We have to win tomorrow it's that simple. 8/9 points behind is too many.

I think we will edge it but wish Silva was playing.

You have to win on sunday. your still in the hunt but fail to win and our eight points clear over you will be pretty hard to catch.

arsenal winning as i type absolute must win i'm afraid

I agree, and this is the problem with losing against the likes of Cardiff, Villa and Sunderland. One of those results would still be shocking, but could be filed under the heading 'shit happens', but 3 shockers in 6 games? Not acceptable I'm afraid. If we lose this one the pressure will be right on Pellegrini and rightly so imo.

As much as I like Pellegrini its incredibly difficult to disagree with this.

The time for bedding in and excuses are over and its time to deliver.

I sense you have to go on winning run from sunday onwards to have any chance of staying in touch with us. We been ruthless all year against teams outside the top six. won most of our matches.

city have a wonderful attack but you need to win your next four in row in my view before you play us in december.

Its not really the points gap that's the issue. The problem is that, whilst our away form is so poor, the pressure to win the home games is so much greater.
