Really important to win, Chelsea could build a good gap between them and us because until Christmas they will win about 3-4 matches easily (Sunderland, Palace, Stoke...).
While we play away from home to WBA, Soton in that period.

Spurs had problems with scoring goals this season, but I am not optimistic because our defence can make even shit strikers look like Messi.

Also they played 5 away games in the league conceding only one goal! Very good defence away from home, it will be hard to break up if we dont start with similar pace, agression like in the derby earlier.

Also big fight in the middle, they will pack it to stop Yaya/Fernandinho, we need top class performance from our players there also Nasri/Navas helping a lot tracking their wide players etc.

Lose this match and Pellegrini will face some pressure because only a nearly perfect home record can balance out our horrible away form. (Even that wouldnt be enough if our away form doesnt start to improve immediately.)
Not mentioning Arsenal would be 9 points far...

Come on City, play well, win it and move on for a good win against PLzen.

Performance? I thought it was about points...
I'd rather we played shit against Cardiff, Chelsea, Sunderland, Villa but had some points to show for it.

Is it me but I'm listening to the commentary of the Chelsea game and getting really annoyed by one of our former players going on and on about how great Chelsea are. Niall what has our club done to you? When you commentate on us and we have as much possession and dominate teams you never say how good we are. Fact West Ham are poor so that is why Chelsea are looking ok. In the morning I expect a real reaction to the defeat at Sunderland. 3-0 hopefully otherwise the media will have a field day. It is time for us to stick together especially when one of our own (Quinn) is adding to the media frenzy against us. Oh for having Uwe constantly on Sky now there's a man who tells the truth!

It's very lively in the NORTH Stand !! But it is the NORTH so it's significantly more chilly than in your Southern Softy section. ;)
