yes it would have been, because we were crap tonight, I didn't think it could have been worse than Fulham but we surrendered the game to sodding Wigan, our first touch, dribbling and passing were mediocre, half the players were half hearted and lacklustre, Balotelli did as little as he normally does(couldn't manage a great goal today to register a contribution) and I don't even think we had a single shot on goal in the 2nd half...
yeah we won, but if that had been virtually anyone in this league bar Wigan tonight we wouldn't have, and we got unbelievably lucky with our goal and a couple of their chances, it's totally not good enough.
3 points is a massive relief, but how many weeks do we have to keep hoping our league performances pick up because if we keep playing that we can kiss goodbye to any hope at Liverpool, Everton, home to Spurs, Chelsea for starters.
