City were on the verge of having a reliable digital ticket system but chose chaos

Everything was working fine before the changes in the last week mate. Now I can’t even access the QR codes. Thanks for the suggestion
If worst comes to worst the North Stand ticket office will still print out paper copies of tickets at the game with the lead supporter's/buyer's membership/ST number. My iPhone failed on me before Newcastle last week and while it took a bit of running around to get to the answer, once I was in the ticket office queue it moved quickly and my three tickets were printed off rapidly with no fuss. They do get some stick but they were so efficient in saving our day Saturday and I was super grateful to be in my seat in time - long may that back up service continue.

FWIW I've found emails sent to Supporter Services on Saturdays and Sundays are usually resolved by the Monday. I didn't know about the changes but have had issues with the 'City Family' system in the past that were sorted in time. Best of luck.

I recently couldn't transfer a ticket via my laptop/google chrome, but worked easily when I used my Samsung phone.

It won't let me print my son's Leipzig or Burnley tickets. This has happened before. What a load of crap.
 
Can you not just send the recipient the QR code(s)? Has worked fine for me by whatsapp or text in the past.
The electronic digital ticket has to be in your Google or apple wallet on your smart phone - it won't work just screenshot of a QR code ...
 
I’ve spent several hours trying to transfer tickets to friends and family for the Burnley game. I’ve also bought a pair of tickets for friends who’ve returned to Manchester for a family funeral the Leipzig game that can’t be transferred. I’ve rang Supporters Services twice and tweeted them. They promised to fix it.

The Club’s admin had a working digital ticket system that was doing a decent job but chose to reinvent the wheel mid season. It’s not the fault of the people in the ticket office / on the help line. It’s those in charge who didn’t have the foresight to get any changes they felt needed to be made preseason when there was time for proper testing.

The people I’ve got tickets for include young families hoping to see their first game. Hopefully that can happen.
Did they give the impression they’re going to fix the system, or just your issue? I’m currently in Sydney and the new-look page won’t let me transfer my ticket for any game. Phoning Supporter Services from Australia for an hour on hold will be a very inconvenient and expensive option for me!

They said (twice) that they were going to send me ticket links to forward to my friends and family but that never happens. I’ve now emailed them. This is my 5th request for help over the same issue (having tweeted Supporter Services twice)
 
It will. It did for me.
I don't understand how? Fans have told me that before BUT when I've checked that actually had it in their wallet but used the QR to scan (it was the digital ticket in the wallet) being recognised. A smart phone relies on the digital NFC to make payments from a credit/debit card and the same with digital tickets - certainly doesn't work on mine and a few others phones and we've tried it so not sure how that's worked for you? ...
