Any Blues planning on going to Macau whilst over there? It's the Vegas of the east and i'll be certainly paying it a visit.

Yep, staying there 2 nights out of the 8 in total.

Staying in the Crowne Plaza Kowloon East in HK, lovely hotel and not too expensive (at least by HK standards), around 30 mins from Kowloon central but next to an MTR station

Where are you staying?

A few hotels have been put forward on here, and am just looking at a few. There are a number of Blues from Perth making the trip and we were talking about where to locate, it would be good to meet with others who are over there.

Any suggestions on bars etc

First time in HK so not sure on bars etc, but I'm staying at L Hotel Causeway Bay. Got 6 nights for just over £400 (about 650 in your currency I think!). It's pretty close to the stadium and surrounded by places to eat, drink and shop from what I've heard/read. Also has a metro station right outside I believe.

I have been looking at the L`Hotel as well, it does look a great location and not bad price wise, was mentioned earlier and been recommended to us.

Am coming over with my son age 7 and quite a few Blues from Perth, should be a great trip.

I've booked a hotel on the Kowloon side :( Guess it's just a short ferry trip across the harbour or I could use the MTR. I'll figure it out when I get there.

Notice tickets are on sale from 2am UK time tomorrow on <a class="postlink" href="http://www.cityline.com/chi/main.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.cityline.com/chi/main.html</a>

But no mention yet on City's web-site if we are getting an allocation from the club to buy.

Tournament starts with Spurs vs Sunderland then it's City vs South China

I'm not surprised by this. If you look at the previous few iterations, the Asian team playing at home always gets drawn against the "prestige" club - although to be fair to Spurs, this is about the first time that two clubs from the top five have been invited. Usually it's one top-half club and two bottom-half teams, plus the cameo from an Asian team.

So they are thanks.
