City will play in Hong Kong this summer

G'days,

Mrs and I are keen to head over to Hong Kong (from Newcastle, Australia) to watch the Blues, although we're a bit nervous about missing out on tickets to the games. Just to the people who have already booked flights and hotels, are you guys just chancing it, or confident they'll be plenty of tickets available if you're on the ball when they go on sale? Will their be priority for members?

Anyhow, any info would be appreciated! :)

Cheers.

If I remember correctly quite a few Aussie blues got them through a ticket agency in oz and were in the same area as blues who bought them from city's ticket office
We also had to pay a pretty penny, unlike the locals who had paid much less

Best contacting one of the Aussie blues who,may no the name of the agency

not been since the handover and would love to see how much it has changed (or not)

good excuse

Quick heads up for any Blues still considering it, got an email from Flightcentre earlier today advertising a flash sale on flights to Hong Kong tomorrow (Wednesday 13th). They didn't give any travel dates away so it might not fit, but they have 100 seats at £399 return (probably from London). Starts from 10AM. Fill your boots.

Just called them, the deal is for travel with Emirates but only in May!

Sorted ...... Hooked it in to a business trip ;)

Mate in HK told me match tickets available early June. Normally First game is about 6pm, then next at 8.30pm, same on the Wednesday & the Saturday. Tickets via Cityline in HK are un-reserved seats and tickets from club will be reserved seats to keep fans together. Cityline tickets are rumored to be between 15-40 quid depending on where you sit and that's for THE DAY, includes both matches. I'm guessing it'll be about 50 quid per day from the club.

See you there.

I m a local, for you traveling blues, would recommend you book any hotels located in the district Causeway Bay as it is the best area for shopping and eats, and also within walking distance to the ground

for some decent hotel choices i would reckon the following:

I'm booked into the L Hotel Causeway Bay, got quite a good deal on it for 6 nights on lastminute.com. Got decent reviews, is it any good? The rooftop swimming pool looks good :)

Really looking forward to this, can't come round quick enough!
