I don't think this is true. CIty have 15 foreign spots out of 17 in use,
One of the 17 is used up by having 5 homegrown.

Of course but look at the past few years it's difficult for us to sell because of high wage demands and players not wanting to leave. Are we not allowed to sell players?
As far as I recall either Carson or Ake were taking up a foreign spot last year.If Kane & Grealish come in, we'd have to lose 2 English players. Carson would be one, as he was only on loan, but who would be the other out of Stones, Sterling & Walker?
Haven't we just brought Carson in permanently as well?
club's in ruins!!!Trafford Red socks have got bigger floodlights, what is going on at this club?
Everyone wants to leave, we have no pitch and small floodlights.
I think it was a Spanish team last season that found a loophole in this and realised you could replace a goalkeeper with any player. The rules allow you to register another keeper in the event of an emergency (ie 2 being injured) so he'd still be as effective as a 3rd choice.

One of the goalkeepers got injured and they brought in an outfield player.
No. Under UEFA rules you can only have a maximum of 4 association trained players (i.e. players trained in England but not at the club they play for). Under PL rules it's just a maximum of 8 association trained players. We don't. It just means they count as non homegrown, no different to any other foreign player.
You can have as many AT players as you want (up to 25) as long as at least 4 of them are CTNo. Under UEFA rules you can only have a maximum of 4 association trained players (i.e. players trained in England but not at the club they play for).
