City's "Hard Men"

There is a set of 3 in this clip alone, they were at it all game and Nixon's nose was broke by him. It ended a real purple patch for city and cost us promotion I reckon as we lost momentum.

Gone 12 undefeated. Unlucky 13. Pretty certain that was the case, mad how these things can stick in your mind eh?

Tommy Hutchinson was a right hard bastard.

I was speaking to Andy Morrison at the recent Burnley game. Had a good chat.

Not someone to get in their bad books!

Sat next to Andy in the directors box at home to Chesterfield in 98 he took two to three seats up. Top fella.

Must have been before we signed him.

Franny was too busy eating and drinking he watched the game on the TV.

Lee Badbuy scored for us, finished 1 each.

I found this clip of Wyn Davies, for a brief time our big number 9, playing for Newcastle. Look out for Denis Tueart playing for Sunderland in the fracas that follows. Fair to say that Wyn enjoyed the physical side of things...

I’m sure he was injured for this game……remember seeing him outside after the game.
Pretty sure Franny wasn’t our chairman by the time we were in the old third division

Nicky Reid did a decent job on a big nosed Dipper once
