CL Ticket availability

Wont be far off a sell out but doesn't bother me in the slightest

Me neither mate. The big European sides don't all sell out. Juve used to have loads of empty seats, as did Bayern in their old ground. They often had around 30,000 + empty seats back in the 90's early 00's. I remember it well. If our true fans stay away, we don't have the fan base to fill the gaps. So what! Come on Blues

Just checked the seat planner.

Bottom 2 tiers are now both all red.

Seems to have been a late surge in ticket sales.

Single seats scattered in the remaining blocks.

Third tiers are now open on the seat planner. 2 blocks are still yellow. The rest are red.

I'm guessing 45,000+ on Wednesday night.

Think that's capacity then for CL.

Colin Bell Stand lvl 3 isn't open on the planner though? That could mean another mass of seats are unsold as level 3 is always one of the last areas to sell out usually. A lot of tickets have disappeared from the Family Stand in a matter of hours which makes me think they've been sent to schools and universities (and dan.j.mcfc's post before would suggest that). I'm guessing around 43-44,000 on the night.

I must say that I can understand why some people are swerving this. Adult prices of either £48 or £53 for those not on the cup scheme or buying the 3 game bundle are excessive even for a match against such illustrious opponents. Having said that, we should be looking at a near sell-out so if the club had charged a tenner less per ticket across the board and it was sold out, they'd have generated less cash.

For an indication of how many are left, you can click choose seats on the Ticket Bundle page instead and you can see the true availability

its a pity we all aint at colleges around Greater Manchester

I know for a FACT tickets have been distributed for £25 for this match

last week it was for £5 v Wigan

all in the family stand

Its a JOKE,i paid my £100 several weeks ago for all 3 cl games, I know a lot of people on here wont know what i'm on about but some will,

these " students tickets " no longer have "student ,concession " etc printed on them or at least last weeks wigan game didn't

Whose gonna stop these falling into Bayern fans hands this weds in our end ? someone buying them for £25 anjd selling to germans for a big profit? sort it city

The ticket bundle was a good offer but the bayern Munich game should be at least a tenner cheaper than it is now . People just don't have the cash !.

-- Mon Sep 30, 2013 4:05 pm --

Also, next time they do the bundle offer they should maybe offer a pay in installments offer where people set up a direct debit so they don't need to pay such a lump sum ?.
