Clapham alkali attack

But we don't. We could lock up all people that stab people or glass people as well but you know the reasons why we don't.

This guy will almost certainly get a life sentence but that won't necessarily be long enough. The woman in Bristol got 12 years. These **** will have a miserable existence if he lives, he'll likely be in constant pain and for his sadistic attack on woman and her kids, will be target for other inmates.

You also know that we need to have diplomatic relations with countries in order to deport people.

And before the Taliban took control of Afghanistan again there's also a big event started at the end of 2019 in China that would have made deportations difficult and changed government priorities. Can't think what it was.

Do you want rule of law or do you want a government official rubber stamping minor and medium level offences for deportation?
Deportations for minor and medium level offences please.

How do you send people back to countries of origin, which you don't maintain diplomatic relations with?

Parachute

Does feel like these sort of attacks are on the increase. Not sure how they can be stopped completely, given the relative ease with which you can acquire the chemicals, but as others have said maybe stricter sentences for the perpetrators would be a start.

Yeah but he was only flashing his knob like and you have to expect the odd perv, acid thrower, gangster or terrorist sympathiser if your gonna save people and grow gdp. Comfort for the victims no doubt.

Society has decided on this and by Society I mean some lawyers and politicians.

Praise the Lord(the right one) for lawyers and politicians.

I prefer to use the term 'paid liars'.

In this particular example he was placed on the sex offenders list in 2018, was he not?

So well before the Taliban came back into power.

Seems like the decision to grant him asylum was unlawful given his criminal record.

It's a legal process so there would be appeals and postponements and that drags it out.

Then there's the pandemic in between.

Why would it be illegal?

The tory on gmtv this morning saying this means the rawanda scheme will work , took no responsibilty for this happening on their watch and the labour have no plan line , they interupted him before he got to the labour will take us back to square one line

Apparently anyone on the sex offenders list should see their application be rejected, as a matter of course.

That’s what the BBC are reporting in any case.
