The nation's teenage girls have accepted Zayn's departure with a lot more dignity and grace than the pipe and slipper boy racer Top Gear fans have accepted Clarkson's.
Really?

I mean i'm not sure if you're aware of the collapse of social media regarding Zayn's fanbase but... REALLY!?

1D fans saying they'll commit suicide, crying into cameras and posting them online, stroking posters with his face on, breaking down in lessons,
consoling one another, spouting conspiracy theories,. Absolute emotional breakdowns we're talking about here, from lasses of all ages.

So dignity, much rational.

I shed a tear when Hunter Thompson shot himself, but I never got this obsessive nature that teenage girls have over boybands, as if it's normal to be such manic and faithful consumers.

You were too young for the Bay City Rollers and The Osmonds weren't you?

Now that was hysteria.

There wasn't a dry pair of panties in the country.

I used to like Top Gear .
But to me the program not moved on from 10 years ago .
I also used to like what Clarkson had to say .
But to me he got too big for his own boots .
I reckon Clarkson will do another car series on another channel , like SKY

The Discovery Channel will no doubt be interested in an opportunity to create a program and include Clarkson, Hammond and May in it, they have their fair share in decent car programs like Wheeler Dealers, Fast n' Loud etc...

Dave would be another as well.

Both channels will give the three a decent enough budget to replicate what they did on Top Gear.

As it was Clarkson and Top Gear surely he should have driven off ?

Sums up my feelings. I used to like the program immensely, but nowadays it's simply boring, seen it all a thousand times before.

Three or four years ago, they started the new series with clips of the usual arsing about driving sideways and racing around a lake/city/mountains by car/boat/bus/Sinclair C5. Then they cut back to the set and Clarkson said, "for this new series we are going to take a completely new tack, and we won't be doing ANY of this". Brilliant I thought, something new finally. Then he said, "....Only kidding, of course we'll be doing the same stuff again". My heart sank. I hardly watch it these days because it's so formulaic, it's just dull.

And he's a borish, mysogenistic dinosaur with only the attractive blondes allowed to stand at the front. It's all pretty tasteless crap really.

Now he's gone, hopefully the show can reinvent itself with a new host. Those who wish to continue to watch the same old shite will likely be able to follow the idiotic antics on some other channel.

(And by the way, OF COURSE he had to be sacked.)

With the hashtag #CutForZaiyn and teenage girls posting pictures of self harm?

You couldn't have got that post more wrong if you'd tried could you.

Looks like the email death threat to the BBC chief came from outside the UK.
Has Clarkson been on his hols abroad this week does anyone know? ;-)

Racially abused?

He called him a lazy Irish ****.

People really do water down real racism with such comments.

Depends if he was a lazy irish **** or not.

Either way, calling it racism just dilutes the term as I said.

Amazing, love Viz.
