Classic Rock (Phil Collins lives, run for the hills)

Off to see Uriah Heep at the Bridgewater Hall next month.
I haven't seen them since their 1977 Firefly Tour, with the wonderful John Lawton singing.
Should be interesting.
I'm going next week, they are doing a 45 minute acoustic set to open then 2 hours full set, so don't be late :). Think there are are 39 songs acreoss all eras in the set. Looking forward to it, even the recent albums have been great.

They may not be of the era...but the Black Crowes music falls into classic rock...went to see them on Wednesday night and they were superb...it was a show, not a gig...fantastic musicians and Chris Robinson's vocals were outstanding!! The stage even had a bar, with barman at the back...

Was gutted that it clashed with us being on holiday... looks great.

Not seen Heep since 1985, which was the fourth time I saw them. I think John Lawton was the lead singer each time.

Was supposed to see them at some point in past ten years but I couldn't go - think I was ill (I've missed maybe two gigs through ill health in last 50 odd year!) - bloody annoying as it was in Oxford. Decided against going into London to see them on this tour.

Haven't seen Black Crowes since 1995. Saw them 5 times. Another band I might have gone to see if it wasn't for the fact I'd have had to go to Brixton.

I’ve seen them twice….first time was the Shake Your Money Maker tour…30 years ago. Second time was the 30 year Shake Your Money Maker anniversary tour :)
