Classic Rock (Phil Collins lives, run for the hills)

Trevor Rabin new track which does more in 7 minutes than Yes have managed in three albums.

On first listen the new Rabin album is pretty darn good. A real kitchen sink job and a lot of materil that could have made a follow-up to the first two Yes albums he did. Wipes the floor with recent Yes releases.

What a musician Trev is.

And talking of new Classic Rock releases.

The new Alice Copper album "Road" is a big slab of Heavy Metal humour.

A concept album of sorts about bands on tour, produced an co-written by the eminent Bob Ezrin, it's a self-referential riot of recycled riffs and tongue-in-cheek lyrics - "Big Boots"! Naughty Alice.

It's a fun listen but don't thinks it's nearly as good as Detroit Stories from 2 years ago.
