Classic Rock (Phil Collins lives, run for the hills)

1994 – 70’s hard rock band fronted by raspy powerhouse singer Karen Lawerence and produced by master guitar mixer Jack Douglas.

Nantucket – From Carolina!

Nazareth – Jock hard rock.

New England – Their debut album, produced by Kiss’ Paul Stanley, contained the AOR classic “Don’t Ever Wanna Lose Ya” but 2nd album, the pomptastic Explorer Suite was their crowning glory; sadly, commercial success never materialised. I was lucky enough to see them live in New York in 1981.

New Order – Manc band with hooky bass lines.

New York Dolls – Glam punk originators from the world’s 2nd greatest city.

Nickelback – Purveyors of naggingly memorable commercial rock.

Nicks, Stevie – My favourite female singer.

Night Ranger - 80’s AOR featuring Brad Gillis.

Nine Inch Nails – Heavy industry.

Nirvana -Dave Grohl’s first band.

No Doubt – Ska infected pop rockers.

Nugent, Ted – Motor City, motor mouth guitar villain. If it's too loud, you're too old.

Numan, Gary – Metal loving electro pop man.

The National
The Nightingales
I tried to listen to The National years ago and couldn't get into them.

However, I recently listened to Matt Berninger's solo album from last year, Serpentine Prison, and really enjoyed it.
