Let's agree to disagree on the 2nd today OK? You say he couldn't have done anything about it. I think you're right. I think a bigger keeper could have.
All keepers will make mistakes, as will strikers, mids and defenders. However, GKs that make mistakes also make telling saves. Loris made two howlers today that resulted in goals to us. But, Loris also made five saves today for shots on target and two of them were brilliant saves. So he cost Spurs 2 points today but he also saved Spurs 2 point today.
Bravo's record for shots on is awful. Mitigating circumstances for some of them absolutely.
He fundamentally is not a keeper that is very good at shot stopping and I do think his lack of height is part of the isssue. He was bought by Pep at considerable expense, to be a "Sweeper"...I don't think Pep foreshadowed just how much "keeping" he would be called on to do.
Commentary on players, performance, moments in games etc is exactly what this forum is for. I don't think I have been overly "critical" of Bravo in this thread. Merely suggested that I had some sympathy for the view of a poster that felt Bravo could have done better and provided some commentary as to why. You have a different view to me. So be it. It would be a boring place if we were always completely aligned in our views.
Glad to hear the atmosphere was better at the match and the fans raised their voices. I hate Spurs and think the way the media has treated City all year and particularly in the lead up to this game has been ordinary.
