It's another game with no saves, the pattern is there to anyone that wants to see it
So? It's not his fault that they had two chances only and that both were put away with aplomb. I bet he wishes he'd faced the shots Lloris had. Each one was relatively simple.

Bravo is crap but he had absolutely no chance of saving either goal yesterday. Even the great Joe Hart wouldn't have got near them.

Other than a few people on this thread I have heard no one - at the match or otherwise - that has even remotely suggested he could have had any chance whatsoever with either goal. Considering the scrutiny he has been under in the media for the past 7 days that tells its own story.

You could literally look at any goal that's ever been scored and try and find some way that it could have been prevented. De gea could have saved stoke''s goal today. Do you also blame him for not saving milner's penalty last week? Other keepers save penalties all the time. So in your world de gea has cost united 4 points in two games. What a shit keeper.

Criticise when it's justified but give the bloke a fucking break - especially when we're talking about one of our own players. What really pleased me was the support in the ground was absolutely fantastic last night - a welcome relief after the past 7 days on here.

Let's agree to disagree on the 2nd today OK? You say he couldn't have done anything about it. I think you're right. I think a bigger keeper could have.

All keepers will make mistakes, as will strikers, mids and defenders. However, GKs that make mistakes also make telling saves. Loris made two howlers today that resulted in goals to us. But, Loris also made five saves today for shots on target and two of them were brilliant saves. So he cost Spurs 2 points today but he also saved Spurs 2 point today.

Bravo's record for shots on is awful. Mitigating circumstances for some of them absolutely.

He fundamentally is not a keeper that is very good at shot stopping and I do think his lack of height is part of the isssue. He was bought by Pep at considerable expense, to be a "Sweeper"...I don't think Pep foreshadowed just how much "keeping" he would be called on to do.

Commentary on players, performance, moments in games etc is exactly what this forum is for. I don't think I have been overly "critical" of Bravo in this thread. Merely suggested that I had some sympathy for the view of a poster that felt Bravo could have done better and provided some commentary as to why. You have a different view to me. So be it. It would be a boring place if we were always completely aligned in our views.

Glad to hear the atmosphere was better at the match and the fans raised their voices. I hate Spurs and think the way the media has treated City all year and particularly in the lead up to this game has been ordinary.

He could have done better with the 2nd if he dives and didn't land on the same spot and actually reaches out fully,it's every game,i want him to launch himself at the ball, when has he made a save or got remotely close to one that is not straight at him? .Llores fucked up twice but made several saves to keep them in the game and get a point, bravo doesn't
This. Lloris saves silvas effort in the first half at full stretch with it bouncing awkwardly sadly bravo got nowhere near the second. He didn't dive he just dropped to the floor. My issue is not that he lets some shots in he let's them all in. Even his biggest fans on here must be honest enough to admit he is yet to pull off a meaningful save. Top keepers decide games.

He wasn't at fault for either goal yesterday.

I'm not sure why anyone is even discussing him today. Criticise when he's at fault for sure. But that wasn't yesterday.

It's just the typical mentality. He did absolutely nothing wrong yesterday and his positioning for a few balls over the top was excellent.
Even when he cut stuff out or did things well yesterday people screamed at him.

A guy near was calling him a ducking clown for not picking up a back pass!

Leaving the ground you could hear people bemoaning him.

There is no agenda, the stats bear it out, shoot at him and it will go in,every player in the prem knows it

That's all fair enough mate. I'm not for one second saying he shouldn't be criticised when warranted etc. And you may be right in that ultimately he isn't for us / this league - but he's only been here 4 months in a new league in a team with a new manager who is fundamentally changing the way we play. I'm willing to give him more of a chance than 4 months.
I rarely get involved in discussions on here but the disproportionate criticism bravo has received from city fans has touched a nerve.
The jeering inside the stadium was a real low point. If a bloke is playing for city then get behind him and give him every chance to succeed.
If we get to the point where he's being criticised for not saving shots like yesterday then we're in a bad place as fans in my opinion. But as you say it's about opinions.

Atmosphere certainly was better yesterday - it feels like the criticism the club is getting externally is galvanising people. Long may it continue!

Silvas was a pea roller from 25 yards that wasnt going right in the corner.
Their second goal came from inside the area, meaning unlike lloris, bravo didnt have time to get to it, and was right in the corner.
they are not comparable saves at all.

Which goals should he have saved yesterday?
If you're saying he should/could have saved either then clearly you do have an agenda.
The fact you're saying Lloris earned spurs a point yesterday and using his performance to criticise bravo shows you have an agenda.
The fact you're saying every player in the premier league knows something (which clearly neither of us could possibly know) and using it to criticise bravo shows you have an agenda.
Let me get this straight; So what you are saying is that she has an agenda? (:

His performances have dropped further recently and I've almost lost faith in him regaining his Chile or Barca form for us but he couldn't do anything about either goal and didn't have anything to do for the rest of the game.

Absolutely and totally blameless with regards to the result but some seem to think football is played on calculators rather than on the pitch.
