I think our new badge should incorporate an image of an oil well placed in front of a background of the Stockport Viaduct.

With three stars above it.

And the Latin phrase "original amaris" beneath it.

The Lancashire rose isn't really a major part of modern Manchester. A lot of younger blues probably wouldn't even know what it is.

For me it the middle badge, used before the eagle crest. But my personal favourite is the roundal mock badge city used on the web site when the Mcfc/nycfc web feature was posted a while ago. It was like the last used badge but with better colouring and more dynamic looking..... For me the eagle has never done it... Just don't get it..

we need a modern interpretation. I think it's inevitable we'll ditch the Eagle, but I think the older badge is still tacky, it needs to be updated. GeekinGav did some good variants, although he never did a version which I'd most prefer...

Really hope it happens. Remember crying when my dad said City had changed badges. I was only about 7, mind you.

Would love to see the round badge again!
