This is the debate though, define: formed. Did we just change our name to Manchester City or we're we distinctly formed separately from the Ardwick, Gorton line?

He already has, Manchester City and Ardwick AFC were playing football at the same time, plus there may not even be a link to St Marks

Same. I hated it at first but it feels right after a few hours. Apart from 1894 I still find issue with and the straight City. Anyone tried curving City?

Ok thanks for that. I'd caught the tail end of it being blurry lines at some point and never had chance to check it out properly. Always thought it was just a name change so felt 1880 was most appropriate.

Although, after seeing this badge and the shape of the shield it seems that our in house design team think we were formed from Arsenal!!

I know we sign a lot of their players but come on :/
