The club were never going to please everyone, and I'm glad they've retained certain core elements.

As others have suggested though,a bit of tweaking would improve it considerably. Namely adding the words "Football Club", having the three rivers in white, and putting the shield inside the circle rather than overlapping it.

Other than that it's alright, better than the current abomination.

I think this sums it up perfectly, the current badge is awful and whilst this is not perfect, for the very reasons you state, it is a million times better than what we have and will look great on shirts. Regarding colours I've always said we should not stick with one colour of the badge. There should be licence to change it dependent on the background of kit or whatever it is against. Look at Gav's designs. I love them and was torn between some of his colours but they all have a place.

Overall well done City.

I like it. I think it'll be a grower.

I would have had maroon/purple instead of the yellow/gold, and the shield inside the circle, but apart from that it's fine.

Nice badge, if the club get 'F.C.'Or 'Football Club' added...

Manchester City is obviously a football club, no rugby version, ice hockey etc - F.C or football club isn't needed. New York however has a few New York teams (Yankees/Mets/Rangers/Jets/Islanders/Giants) same with Melbourne who have Aussie rules club/another football team too.
