I like the throwback to a previous badge so it's not too much of a shock. Classical and stylish. Great job.

It's actually a dark blue rather than black, I love it.

Yeah it's definitely a dark navy blue BUT City could easily decide to make the text black, I'm sure they will play around a little with the color combinations here and there over the years t get a new look, look what they did with the Eagle, they had it 2 color on the striped Champs league kit, it's been black and white also.

I can see the stripes being white, the 1894 in navy, the white inner circle could be flipped to light blue or black on different background shirts to make the badge stand out more. Expects lots of different color combinations down the years to freshen things up just like Eagle badge.
