I would have said the grief was bad, really badGood grief.

Hope the support is as loud and fervent as it was in the games v. RM and before them Hamburg.
City 3-0. Bugger Brugge.
Noisy is fine (even good, for those like me that like that sort of thing ahead of big matches), I just hope they behave themselves and don’t go the way of the Rangers’ bellends.Lots of Brugge ultras in town
Noisy bunch
We’ll still have the 2 legged play off before we’re through to the next stageI can't understand the negativity from those who claim they would be happy to see City get knocked out tonight. What the hell is wrong with you? Progress tonight, and the clock is completely reset on this tournament going forward. The pathway to the final stages will be open, and the fragility of the league stage will be a footnote in the history books.
City did not become a bad team this season. They became one with a pile-up of lengthy injuries affecting defensive positions in particular. And that meant that those players who were available were run into the ground, with little opportunity to rotate them. Does anyone here genuinely believe that the plan was to play an ageing Ilkay Gundogan to anything like the extent he has been required to? Was it the plan to give Bernardo so little time to recover?
Get through tonight and everything changes. Some of the injured players are finally back in contention. And we have four eager new recruits desperate to make an impression with City in the UCL (Khusanov, Reis, Marmoush & Echeverri) ... they can all be registered for the UCL squad from the next round onwards. We may even add another signing yet before the transfer window closes. Their availability will give breathing room for our "fit" players to recover from exhaustion. Then we will see the likes of Bernardo back to their best. With that combination, City have as good a chance as any in this competition. Why not?
Those pronouncing that City won't be able to compete with the likes of Real Madrid this year need to look at their record in the league stage. Several of the big name teams have struggled, probably not helped by the Euros / Copa America having kept key players active through most of the Summer - just like City.
If City win tonight, NO CLUB will want to be drawn against them down the line. If we don't value progress in the UCL from here, what's the point? Why strive to finish top 5 to qualify for next season if that's the way you feel?
Let's get this won tonight and put the last few weeks behind us. A fit and firing City can still win this trophy. I'm backing them 100%. Are you?
I haven’t been a huge fan if the Chimps League. But no way I want City to go out tonight. And with the new signings we soon have a big enough squad to keep going in this and other competitions.I can't understand the negativity from those who claim they would be happy to see City get knocked out tonight. Yeah, we want a repetition of the Hamburg noise but with the Irwell Valley Shinkickers scoreline.Hope the support is as loud and fervent as it was in the games v. RM and before them Hamburg.

I’m reading their comments and thinking are they just kidding themselves on it doesn’t matter? Surely they realise that continued Champions League involvement makes it easier to sign new players / improve the squad! Aye they covering their arses incase it goes pear shaped tonight so they can say they weren’t fussed in the first place. All those people saying they are not arsed about the CL, wow one of my highlights of watching city is lifting the trophy in Istanbul and I want to see us do it again!
call me cynical, but if they're annoyed at you turning down a 'free' meal then it probably isn't 'free'I've declined an invitation to a free meal tonight so I can watch City.
I've also had grief off my bosses for doing so.
So I want City to win so I can go in the office tomorrow with a smug look on my face.
