Cole Palmer

Cole palmer for me looks like he believes he doesnt belong, he is almost trying to hard, he needs to have a little more belief in himself like foden and lewis to let his talent speak.
I think it is a lack of athleticism. Phil Foden looks so smooth out there bexussae he has freakish athleticism.

I don’t think Palmer is a City level player, but I hope he proves me wrong.

Was told last night that Cole is being sold to Brighton. I'm not in the know but I think the sauce is credible.

Well it was reported a few weeks back they came in for him! We wanted a sell on and a buy back they didn't and it all been quiet since, maybe we come to a compromise?

Been told by someone close to the family it's a loan..
I'd imagine it's a loan with an option to buy.

Brighton aren't generally in the business of developing young players for other teams - they made an exception to bring in Colwill as part of the deal which took Cucurella to Chelsea, but have since been stung by Chelsea's refusal to negotiate a permanent deal.

A loan with a view to a permanent deal, including a buy back and sell on clause for us, seems most likely to me.

I think it's a mistake to loan him. We've seen in his limited opportunities that he can make an impact at this level despite playing on a side that he really wasn't comfortable with. We haven't seen at all from Mcatee and Bobb. I'm not saying they can't but it seems so unnecessary and risky with an already slim midfield/attacking depth. I think he's far quicker than some on here give him credit for as well. He gave Azpilicueta a much tougher ride on the last game of the season last year than Grealish did in preseason(whom I'm a big fan of).

Or just a loan
