Cole Palmer

I'd imagine it's a loan with an option to buy.

Brighton aren't generally in the business of developing young players for other teams - they made an exception to bring in Colwill as part of the deal which took Cucurella to Chelsea, but have since been stung by Chelsea's refusal to negotiate a permanent deal.

A loan with a view to a permanent deal, including a buy back and sell on clause for us, seems most likely to me.
Would have also learnt from the Colwill deal to have a future fee option

If it is a loan move to Brighton, I would be happy with that. They are a well run club with a good manager who wants to play a good style of football. Really think that Cole could make the grade at City, but to help his developmental , he needs to be playing more games and he could possibly get that at Brighton. No doubt we will soon find out.

I want him to stay and compete for the RW position with Bobb. If that isn't going to happen, a loan move to Brighton would be a great choice, for exactly the reason @Dave El Magico states.

I just find it hard to imagine Brighton would do a loan without the option to sign in someway after. They did it with Chelsea with Levi Colwill, but doubt they will do it again, they know players trained by them go up in value.

Could be some sort of swap plus cash deal, although unsure for who as Mitoma is a LW and Enciso isnt even a winger st all, but an attacking midfielder.

They got Europa league football with Colwill in the side so it didn't work put too badly
