I know the rules. Not necessarily three consecutive seasons. Also, different rules for lists A and B.
The opposite for me, keep him or sell him, a loan seems a bit pointless now.
I don’t imagine he’ll be going anywhere - either on a permanent deal or on loan - til we’ve got a replacement for Mahrez.
If we don’t bring a direct replacement in, this is exactly the chance Palmer has been looking for. He’s the most similar in style to Mahrez in our current squad, so is ideally positioned to benefit from him leaving.
So Brighton can want whatever the fuck they like - it’s isn’t going to happen.
He’s clearly not close to any move to Brighton, or anywhere else for that matter, given he’s gone on tour. All the players who have deals lined up have stayed at home.
Tells you everything you need to know about how advanced this deal is.
don't have to be English or welsh though was my badly worded correction attempt, Bobb could be in that 4.I know the rules. Not necessarily three consecutive seasons. Also, different rules for lists A and B.
I know he is an academy player and he has potential but his performances in the recent Euros were steady but unspectacular. Indeed he looked somewhat inferior to Gomez who to me showed a lot more in that competition. I trust management if they decide to loan him out or sell him.A loan is a last resort for me and selling would be extremely stupid by the club in my view, the last thing we should be doing is selling him that'd be the worst thing imaginable, in my opinion we could have our pants pulled down with people saying he's worth double within months.
Cole could be absolutely phenomenal if the shackles are taken off there's magic in his boots, he'd potentially be a key player for another team and if he had a great output for them, then he could realistically make an England debut before the season ended.
100% want this to be the case the kid is talented enough, we still have Bernardo and Phil here that can both play on the right too.
Cole still deserves more chances, it's crazy that plenty here have already completely written him off.

We should drag this out and leak to the media that Brighton's first bid was laughable
Surely this is the problem though. Why are we bothering keeping him around if we are trying to force him into a role he is no good in.Cole could be absolutely phenomenal if the shackles are taken off there's magic in his boots, he'd potentially be a key player for another team and if he had a great output for them, then he could realistically make an England debut before
Giving him a few games in his best position on the right wing might help his cause tbfSurely this is the problem though. Why are we bothering keeping him around if we are trying to force him into a role he is no good in.
He has magic in his boots, if hes in the right team. We aren't going to be changing our team to fit him and 99% of the minutes he has had for us have been pretty ordinary.
£80,000,000 + Caicedo.£40 Million with Buy Back we should be aiming for.
Delap played 23 games for Stoke and 15 for Preston last season. Admittedly quite a few were sub appearances but he did get opportunities and was not able to make the most of them. The problem with loans is there’s no guarantee of playing time. Look at Delap was wasted last season whereas McAtee thrived. Brighton are unlikely to take him on loan.
If he goes there permanently they will at least give him a chance. Palmer needs to play next season and play a lot. He’s 21 and only has 3 premier league starts. Sale and buy back could really work for him.

Agree with this. I haven’t heard of a player mentioned to take Mahrez’s place who is better than Palmer. Loads of time to develop and would hold his price through next season..I want us to keep him and to see him take his chance with us.
Now that Mahrez has left he's going to get more minutes, so the incentive for him to play more is now down to him.
