Does anyone think Colin would be as vocal in his anti noveau-riche sentiments if we had been bought by Estee Laude, Ralph Lauren or Georgina Bloomberg as opposed to a very rich Muslim?

I dont understand why the media as a whole have dug him out to comment , he just embarases himself time and time again. but maybe thats what the media are after , a bumbling old fool of a city fan who at the end of the day doesnt understand modern day football and the business its become, colin go have a camomile tea and shut the fuck up.

I said City moved a match from Yom Kippur under Bernstein and it gets deleted for being 'anti-Jewish'.

It was a fact, we beat Ipswich 1-0 Horlock header and Weaver cartwheels etc.

How this article was published astounds me. It is so badly written - I can't even imagine how the editors approved it for general publication. It took me 2 reads to get his point. There was none!

I have never read any of Shindler's previous stuff but, he does come across as being obsessed and addicted to the 'pain of being a city supporter'. So this is a message for you Mr Shindler...

Colin, now sit on the couch, relax, take a deep breath and listen. This season and others may be hard for you to digest and come to terms with but, you may have to start dealing with supporting a successful club in your life. City will be going somewhere. The stadium will be filled week on week and the atmosphere will be buzzing...

I know, I know, it'll be hard at first, winning game after game is a tough life - even on our travels, we will come back home as the winners. No more will you have to fear either relegation, or our team going bankrupt, or us having to sell our talented youth to feed the bills.

Start thinking like the rest of us supporters - flipping excited about the times ahead you doom loving fool! and certainly don't speak for the rest of us in a national paper. If your love affair with City is over and the therapy cannot help you get over it. Just move on and start loving another club. Try Stockport County, they seem to fit your type of club. A club whose future is bleak and bankrupt .You may find that you have more in common with the mad hatters than you think...

Always thought the guy was a tosser, Anyone who names a book about Manchester City with the title he did is a **** in my book. Probably his publisher told him he would sell a lot more with that title but he sold out and went along with it. Beyond the pale as far as I am concerned and I will NEVER read that book.

Toatally agree with the comments of Ric and Damoclese earlier in this thread. I am not a Manc but Blue Blood has been in my veins for over 40 years now and Schindler can fuck right off.

If you seriously believe that MCFC moved a game because of Yom Kippur because of Bernstein, then please provide proof, but personally I think you are talking crap.

I deleted your post because we don't want topics debated on religious/race terms (see code of conduct), call Schindler if you like (its clear he's a bitter twat reading that), but please leave religion/race out of it.

I think that the problem is that people are insinuating his article contains Anti-Arab sentiments that are supposedly linked to his Jewishness. That's different to an impersonal satirical comment on a religion, say Christianity, which we do get a lot of, unfortunately. I certainly didn't mean to suggest Schindler was motivated by Anti-Arab sentiments. Rather his comments fit the mould of the typical nostalgic little-britain rubbish that the Mail loves so much. I was trying to make the point that I wouldn't consider the mail a pro-semitic paper, as they have in the past made absolutely disgusting comments about Jewish immigrants. The current run of anti-immigration stories is little more than a continuation of this. They are indiscriminate in their xenophobia. I believe I've overlooked this while they get good stories on city, but this article brings their politics onto the sports pages. Fuck 'em. I hope city stop feeding them stories.

He needs to take a closer look at things, the current board we have are here to make us successful and look after us the fans, when was the last time an owner spent 200 million on players then REDUCED ticket prices? when was the last time a club decided to make a european 1/4 final £5 for adults and £1 for kids, they are bringing back the working mans game for reasonable prices. Personally I have never felt soo valued by this club. Maybe it's just me...

Sorry mate but I don't know how you can keep religion/race comments out of this discussion. I have read this several times now and it makes me more annoyed each time. Just because he supported a German keeper (who from what I remember was conscripted and not a Nazi anyway) he feels he can now freely pass judgement and bring politics and religion into the article. 'Rotten at the core' can only be directed at our owners. I think I would struggle to find others with this attitude so one can only guess at his reason for such a comment. Fuck I'm so incensed by this fucker. I'm off before I say something I shouldn't.
